Objective

Woman in Motion came to be after director Todd Thomson reached out to Adrenaline with an immense collection of star-studded interviews, B-roll, and archival photos and video, shot by crews in various formats across the nation. He needed an editor who could help steer the project into a compelling and inspiring feature project, organize the edit as it grew, and collaborate with him on the story. He aimed to blend the project's various assets into a streamlined look and feel, as well as prepare the project for success on the festival circuit.

Making movies requires a lot of patience, coordination, and collaboration. With Adrenaline you have a partner who understands just what it takes to bring a story to life on the big (and small) screen. It’s a creative adventure we share together.

Solution

After consulting with Todd and his team, Adrenaline recommended a post workflow that would effectively accomplish the project's goals in a realistic and efficient timeframe to meet festival deadlines. Our post team worked hand-in-hand with Todd to engineer the story, address aesthetic and technical obstacles, and ultimately craft a polished piece ready for streaming and the big screen. Woman in Motion has since found a home on streaming platforms, including Paramount+®, and enjoyed a theatrical release.
